Born in 1974 Ceasar was inspired by the work of Godfrey Kurare from childhood. While still at school Ceasar would visit Godfrey at his local artists cooperative where Ceasar would carve pendants from chips of stone to sell to his friends.
After he finished secondary school in 1996 Ceasar joined Dindingwe arts and crafts centre where he started polishing stones for the older artists gradually starting to work on his own pieces as he gained experience. Later he went to learn from Samson Kuvengurwa, who had taught Godfrey, with Samson he learnt the techniques to finish sculptures to the highest standard.
Still a resident of Dindingwe Ceasar’s pieces have been exhibited in the USA, UK and Germany.
